At Temple Rose, we are starting a quiet revolution by turning the handbag industry inside out. Many brands concern themselves with the outside design only, splashed with logos and coated in signature prints. We want to differentiate ourselves from this trend. We noticed something the industry had long overlooked and ignored: the INSIDE of the bag. Historically other brands have used dark coloured, utilitarian linings in boring cotton or cheap polyester. These plain, dark interiors create frustrating situations unnecessarily - how many times have you stood at a door, rummaging through a dark abyss for your keys?

But what if the interior was the focal point, and was both beautiful and functional? Why do you need to compromise on either? These musings were the initial ideas of our founder, and how Temple Rose was conceived. By questioning the long-standing norm in the handbag industry, a unique idea sprang to mind. A quiet luxury brand built on a revolutionary idea — that what’s inside matters most. Each design is defined by its clean, understated lines on the outside, and signature reveal of the sumptuous interior lined with a luxury fabric. Every thoughtful detail is considered in the design process, from hidden pockets, exquisite hardware, to adjustable straps. We continue to evolve as we grow, always looking to improve upon the status quo.
